Rosie O'Donnell Talks About Her New OWN Nighttime Talk Show

Rosie O'Donnell is returning to the big screen with a whole new show on OWN this fall, called The Rosie Show.  Apparently this is going to be completely different from her older talk show The Rosie O'Donnell Show.  If the two shows are as different as the titles then I expect to be blown away.  Okay, enough with the sarcasm -- back to facts.

Rosie goes on to describe the show claiming, “There will be a famous guest, maybe once a show, or sprinkled throughout.  It’s not going to be the same kind of show that I did before, where somebody has a movie to promote and they come in and they do seven minutes...it’s going to be much of a hanging out, loose, non-promotional kind of thing."  That should be the drawing card to get celeb guests on your show -- Come on our show, where your upcoming movie won't be promoted!  I think you need to find yourself a new PR rep my dear.  Rosie goes on to explain, “Let’s say we have Cyndi Lauper come in, she’ll maybe sing a song. She’ll hang out with me and talk and we’ll maybe do a little something together. Then we’ll have the audience ask questions, we’ll have a game.”  You may be wondering why this all sounds vaguely familiar.  Hint: this is the basic summary of every talk show.

There is one big difference about this show that you may not expect -- it's going to be at night.  Rosie announced,“We’re on at 7 PM at night, in order to promote all the great stuff they have coming up on OWN. We’re going to be your entrée into the nighttime lineup."  And there's the plug, nice one Oprah!  Her new talk show is also going to have a reality aspect to it.  The former The View host stated, “There’s going to be a reality show part of my show...where we’re going to be featuring the cast and the making of, during the actual show."  Snooki and The Situation, eat your heart out.
O'Donnell is excited and honored to be working for Ms. O in this latest attempt to save the network.  "Since I was 25 years old, this woman has been inspirational and really a prominent figure in my psyche...is is the first time that weget to work together and it’s something that I wanted to do for decades."  Turns out it's never too late for dreams to come true.

The Rosie Show debuts on October 10 at 7 PM ET/PT on OWN.  Anyone want to share who they think the first guest should be?  My vote: Donald Trump!

'Glee's' Dianna Agron Tells 'Flaunt' Magazine She's The Happiest She's Ever Been

The ultra-popular hit show, Glee, graced our television screens in 2009, sending musical lovers into an instant Broadway coma.  Thus, Gleeks were born.  No one could get enough of that show including yours truly.  Old classics were remembered and more recent artists set exciting themes for every episode.  The characters became iconic, instantly gaining millions of fans all over the world.  One would think that being under constant scrutiny in the public eye would make life downright stressful, but according to Dianna Agron she's never been happier.

Agron can be found in the latest issue of Flaunt magazine, striking poses that would send her "good girl" characterQuin Fabray into an instant tizzy.  The Glee star recounts how happy (or gleeful) she is with life and how she feels very lucky to be part of the whole Glee experience.  Agron states, “I’m the happiest that I’ve ever been. Ever. High school, middle school—I’ve loved every part of getting older and growing, but I definitely think that this is the most I’ve ever felt like myself and that I’m being treated like who I feel I am.”  So she enjoys the constant adoration, the red carpet events, getting everything she asks for, and the million other perks that come with being a Hollywood success?  Shocking.  Agron admits that not everything is easy, but the good definitely outweighs the bad saying,"It’s difficult work being part of something so widespread and global, for sure. The constant flights, the dizzying two shows-a-day schedule, the autographs, the interviews. But at the end of the day, when the reward is changing people’s perspective of what’s normal, and giving a voice to a part of America that still needs one, you almost never want to go to sleep."  We love you Quinn and are looking forward to a very Glee-ful senior year!  Check out her Flaunt pics below:

Rachel Zoe Spends $87,000 on Son's Nursery

When it was announced that Rachel Zoe was going to have a child, it went without saying that everyone knew this child would be living the fashion high life right from the womb.  When your mother is a fashion goddess and dresses celebs such as Nicole RichieKate Hudson, and Cameron Diaz, it's expected that your wardrobe would bring even Tim Gunn to tears of jealousy.  That being said, there is such a thing as going overboard -- even by Hollywood's standards.  When it comes to dressing her four-month-old son, Skyler, Zoe is sparing no expense.

During a Wednesday appearance on Nightline, 39-year-old stylist took ABC's Juju Chang on a tour of her son's walk-in closet.  The kid can't even crawl yet and he's got a walk-in closet....life is not fair.  Baby Skyler is already the proud owner of a $1,160 Gucci bomber jacket along with a shoe collection worth $3,700, which includes a $150 pair of Tod's loafers.  The kid also uses a $1,400 Hermes blanket to catch his spit up while sleeping in his $914 crib. Other pricey items in the nursery include a giant stuffed giraffe ($163), a silver piggy bank ($1,355) and $78,000 worth of designer clothing, all totally up to a staggering $87,000.  Again, I feel compelled to remind you that this child is 4 months old.  Even with her son's vastly growing wardrobe, Zoe comments that boys fashion is disappointing compared to girls fashion and says "Let me tell you there's going to be a lot of boys clothes in my line."  I can't even fathom how many clothes this boy is going to go through by the time he reaches the age of 5.  Rachel may claim that her views on life have changed with the birth of her child, but fashion is still playing an excessive role in her life.  She's projecting one obsession on a new-born obsession.  For a glimpse at the style guru's new outlook on life and Skyler's outrageous wardrobe, check out the video below:

David and Victoria Beckham Want More Children

Already parents to three boys (Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8 1/2, and Cruz, 6 1/2), David and Victoria Beckham were understandably "over the moon" when their first daughter, Harper Seven, was born on July 10th in Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Hospital. And now that Victoria has finally had her first chance to dress her baby girl up in only the most luxurious and elegant attire, it seems like she's having so much fun that she's realized she doesn't want to be able to dress just one of her children nicely. So just two weeks after giving birth, the Beckhams have already decided they'd like to have one more child.

In a video from the Associate Press, David Beckham revealed that he and Victoria have always wanted a big family, and that five children was always a number they had in the back of their minds. And because his sons reacted so positively to the family's newest addition (he said "all the boys won't leave [Harper Seven] alone, which is amazing,"), he's pretty sure they're going to try and have another baby. Hopefully he/she will have Victoria's nose, too.

Kirstie Alley Calls Out David Letterman For His Fat Jokes

Look Who's Talking Now!  Karma comes in all shapes, forms, and sizes -- and for David Letterman it came in the form of Kirstie Alley.  The 60-year-old Cheers star was a guest on Letterman's Late Show last night and it seems she had quite the bone to pick with the talk show host.  The former Fat Actress asked Letterman if he "still" loved her and once he assured her that he did, she whipped out a list of weight jokes Dave made at her expense during her gig on Dancing with the Stars this past spring.  Oh snap!

Kirstie put the late night host on the spot by even reading a few of the jokes out loud to audience.  Some of the mean-spirited jabs included Dave saying "Kirstie Alley is joining Dancing with the Stars… if you don’t already own one now might be a good time to get a wide-screen TV," and "Last night on Dancing with the Stars, Kirstie Alley fell over on the dance floor … how many of you felt it?"  Even as her dancing improved throughout the course of the season the Top Ten Titan wouldn't let up saying, "The judges scored [Alley’s dance] an eight -- on the Richter Scale."  Ouch.  No wonder Dave looked a little uncomfortable as his own words were thrown back in his face.  He assured Kirstie though that "We do love you...if you were skinny, we'd tell jokes about you ... eh, probably not."  Well at least he's honest and kudos to Ms. Alley to for putting Dave in his place and getting the last laugh.
